On an autumn day in
New York City
the 2007 Chocolate Show got to a delicious start.
A myriad of chocolate treats could be found at the show, everything
from chocolate truffles to hot chocolate.
L’Art du Chocolat
Among the rooms with their chocolate delights were works
of art for connoisseurs to admire. A section of one room was cordoned off
to display chocolate fashions.

Chocolate Side Shows
Cooking demonstrations abound at the show. Recipes for
cake, flan and other desserts were carried out by expert chocolatiers,
like Jacques Torres. Vicki
Wells shared her expertise on the perfect ganache. On Friday many
aficionados crowded into the culinary theater area to witness Chocolatina,
the Drag Queen chocolatier, and his assistant cooked up some chocolate
cake.

Yes,
I know this page is missing pictures of chocolate.
I had planned to photograph some samples I brought home, but all
chocolate disappeared before I had the chance.
(Okay,
everything tasted really good!)
